You Don't Have a Firefox Sync Account

If you don't yet have a Firefox Sync Account, the first thing you have to do is open Firefox on your PC. Then go to "Tools" > “Set Up Sync…” and you will see the "Firefox Sync Setup" wizard.

In this dialog windows, select the option "Create a New Account". Firefox will then ask you for your email address and password. Write these down, because you will need them to configure Cloudfox.

When you press "Next", Firefox will generate a Sync Key. This key will be used to encrypt your data before sending it to the Mozilla servers. Write this Sync Key down, because you will need this to configure Cloudfox.

Now you have everything to setup Cloudfox on your mobile phone. Launch the application and go to the setting screen, enter your email address, password and sync key and press save. In the main screen press "Refresh"; Cloudfox will now Sync your mobile device with the Mozilla Weave servers.

You Already Have a Firefox Sync Account

If you already have a Firefox Sync Account, I will assume that you know your email address and password and that you only want to retrieve your Sync Key. In order to retrieve this key, you have to open Firefox on your PC. Go to "Tools" > "Options" and select the tab pane "Sync".

Select the option "My Sync Key" on the "Sync" tab pane and Firefox will show you the Sync Key, used by your PC. Write this key down and use it to configure Cloudfox on your mobile phone.
